We are actively seeking candidates for the following positions:
PROFESSIONAL SALES SPECIALIST - St. Louis
The Medical Sales Specialist is responsible for outside sales and promotion of blood glucose monitors for diabetics to accounts in a defined, geographical territory. Primary sales focuses are Endocrinologists, Primary Care Physicians, Certified Diabetes Educator/ Nurse Educators, and Pharmacists who influence consumer glucose monitor use. Secondary sales focus will be directed toward local and regional Durable Medical Equipment (DME) companies. Key responsibilities include: conducting daily sales calls to accounts; building key relationships with decision makers; promoting products, services, and sample/literature delivery; and developing a business plan and territory call route. The qualified candidate will have 2+ years’ sales experience in pharmaceutical or device sales to physician offices along with a BA/BS, preferably in Business or Life Science. Demonstrated working knowledge of computer and software applications along with documented sales records is required. Candidates must reside in the greater St. Louis area. Working knowledge of diabetes and diabetes management a plus.
